Recently back from Prescott, I acted on the motivational shot in the arm that is attending a rally. The roof skin is removed from 195/2000, making the beast a Galant Targa.
Once the roof was off, I finished pulling the seat belts and pulled wire harnesses out of the way so Kent at Precision Chassis Works will have an easier time installing the base plates for the roll cage. Still left to do is clean out all the crap that’s accumulated under the seats and carpet since 1990, when the car was built, and to clear away the sound deadening material adhered to the floor pan where the cage will be welded in.
